Today’s prompt was recommended by Lori of http://misdiagnosedme.wordpress.com/
- Create a “care page” – a list of your best resources that someone who is newly diagnosed could go to when starting to advocate for themselves or a loved one. Remember to include sites that lead to successful self-advocacy!
One of the most common questions we ask Health Activists here at WEGO Health is “where do you send people who are looking for information about your condition?”
You remember when you were first diagnosed. You hungered for information, but you couldn’t find any one place with all of the answers you were searching for. Create that list you so longed for when you were first diagnosed. Include links to places where you can find information on your condition, as well as information about ways to advocate for yourself successfully.
