Health Mascot. As a Health Activist, your voice is prominent within your specific health community. A mascot is associated with a distinct group or team. Branding your voice with a mascot can be an imaginative and gratifying activity. Here, you can pay tribute to your favorite mascot or you can create an original character. Ensure, whichever you decide to go with is related to your Health Activism. So for today’s prompt – give yourself, your condition, or your health focus a mascot. Is it a real person? Fictional? Mythical being? Describe them. Bonus points if you provide a visual!
We have a tendency to focus primarily on the words in our blog posts. Our words and the choice of words are key. Equally as important is the aesthetics of our blogs. We should incorporate visual appeal. It showcases creative talent and allows your readers to experience something different on your blog. That’s where an idea like adding a mascot fits in. Creating a mascot is also a way of branding – coming up with a definite identity so when people see your work they know it’s yours, unmistakably. Effective branding of your blog – whether it is through a mascot, logo, etc. will give it a unique look and feel.
Do you think the creation of a mascot will enhance your blog and your writing? Did it help you to visualize your role as a Health Activist better?
