Superpower Day. When we think of a superhero, we imagine powerful characters standing up for those who are unable to. So, when you think about it – in a sense, Health Activists are superheroes! We each have an extraordinary talent. For the purpose of today’s prompt – feel free to draw upon what you consider your current talent to be — or get creative and write a superpower you wish you had. Would you choose a traditional type – for example – the ability to control the weather, become invisible at your command, superhuman strength, enhanced senses, etc. or would you invent a new superpower? For today’s prompt write about your superpower and how you use it or would use it.

Need help thinking of what your superpowers or talents are? Remember: Health Activists have the gift (and to an extent, responsibility) of representing various health communities and, in the process, help people feel empowered. By our use of creativity and our vivid imaginations, we connect with our followers and members. Writing today’s post is an opportunity to take a leap out of your usual writing topics (and maybe even your comfort zone) to share more of your personality! Be it your childhood fantasy or something that you still dream of. Let your readers know some of what being a superhero entails and the special power you possess. Have fun with today’s post!

For an extra creative spin – remember that superheroes have an Achilles Heel (or “Kryptonite” if you will) – it helps keep things interesting. If you give yourself a superhuman power – what is your potential downfall? How do you keep your battle for good vs. evil interesting?

How did you decide which superpower to choose? In what ways can your superpower enhance your Health Activism work?
