Well everyone – March is winding down which means it’s almost April or, as we like to call it, Health Activist Writer’s Month. Better still, that means it’s almost time to kick-off our Health Activist Writer’s Month Challenge (#HAWMC) – our month-long challenge (30 days, 30 posts) created especially for health writers and bloggers. We’ve had so many people signing up and tweeting about this year’s challenge and, to be honest, we cannot wait to get started and see what you have to say about our prompts and how you’ll make every day unique.
There’s still time to join us! Whether you have a blog, have once considered starting one, or even if you do most of your writing somewhere else – this is a great time to test your creativity and get writing with fellow online health leaders. I like to think of HAWMC as an online writer’s workshop that gathers many of us together across conditions, interests, and styles. It’s a good way to look at how you write, reaffirm why you write, and try out a few new things. It’s also a pretty cool way to interact with other writers and get to know fellow health bloggers.
We’ve compiled 30 prompts for you to use to write every day of April. While you don’t have to use them – we hope you’ll try them out. We’ve worked to make the prompts fun, introspective, and helpful for exploring writing about your health in a new, interesting way. It’s one of our most exciting programs here at WEGO Health and we’d love to have you with us! If you sign up, we’ll email you all the prompts and ways for you to share with your community members and invite them to join HAWMC too.

You can also follow along with HAWMC (whether you participate or not) on our Facebook page all April-long and check out what fellow Health Activists are saying in their posts (be sure to “like us” for updates). We’ll also be tweeting and RTing posts throughout the month – so be sure to follow us on Twitter @wegohealth.
We’re looking forward to writing with you!
