NHBPM Day 18

A comment as a blog post.

Today’s prompt is to take inspiration from another blogger. Give a shoutout to someone whose post inspired you to think. It can be a post you loved, hated, or thought a lot about. As long as it hit you in some way – that’s perfect.

Now write a comment about that post. Whether it’s just to say why you liked it or why it moved you or because you have something to add.  Use that comment as your blog post for today. Link back to them to let them know you were inspired.

You can do this two ways: write the comment on their post and then copy/paste it onto your blog. Or simply link to their post in your post (more of a referential post than a comment).

Be sure to shout out to the person you featured whether it’s just by pinging them back or tweeting @ them when you link or by posting on your Facebook page or community.

Think of today as a way to really connect with other bloggers. And – for the future – keep this prompmt in mind – it’s a great, genuine way to get new readers, new engagement, and pursue those internet friend-crushes we have. And hopefully someone will do it for us one day!

Participating in #NHBPM? Tweet us a link to your Day 18 post and paste a link in the comments here or on the WEGO Health Facebook page – so we can share your posts!

We’re halfway there but you can still join us for the last days of November – head over here to sign up for all 30 prompts.

I kind of missed the deadline by a couple of hours. Ended up just pointing everyone to my dLife post at http://www.dlife.com/diabetes-blog/type-1/cold-turkey.html
