HAWMC Day 3

Write your own health Q&A. Inspired by the popular (and often outrageous) Yahoo Answers (see here) and the more strategically categorized Q&A format of Quora – today’s prompt is simple: write a health question and answer it. Your question can be a real, genuine one about your condition or you can make it a strange, humorous, or satirical health question. Once you’ve asked the question – answer it however you want to. (Note: You don’t have to ask or answer as yourself – you can pretend to be anyone you like.)

Since the majority of online users are searching for health information, the internet is full of health questions on specific symptoms, treatments, and more for self-diagnosing. And, as health bloggers, we certainly come across our fair share every day. (Though, of course, we actively acknowledge that we don’t administer medical advice and encourage our readers to have a chat with their doctors. :))

What’s a question you wish more people asked? What’s one that you wish you’d never be asked again? Have you come across a question in your time as a health blogger or patient that really stopped you in your tracks or had you laughing out loud? As the saying goes – there is no such thing as a stupid question (see here) – but there are some pretty entertaining ones. Any and all questions/answers are fair game.

What was your motivation behind asking/answering the way you did?
