This week we submitted our comments to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hearings on Health Care Companies’ use of the Internet and social media tools.
Last year we surveyed our Health Activists and found that they feel Health Care Companies should continue to use social media to promote products and services, but must correct misconceptions and misinformation. Health Activists do feel that social media activity of Health Care Companies should be regulated to protect the public’s health. We shared more data from this survey in a previous blog.
