Editorial Policy

WEGO Health is a health information Web site that uses a team of health and wellness experts and volunteer reviewers to rate, filter and summarize the best health content available on the Web.
WEGO Health's Editorial team adheres to the highest standards of journalistic integrity and research rigor. WEGO Health maintains complete editorial independence and does not permit partners or sponsors to change content, or to influence the selection or rating of content.
The people behind the pages
WEGO Health's Editorial team is composed of health-expert researchers, an editor, and volunteer reviewers. We all work together to produce, maintain and update the individual Web pages created for each health subject.
Plain language/level of difficulty
All WEGO Health content is written using consumer-friendly language. The titles and executive summaries are meant to provide an easy to digest "take" on a given link. In addition, each link is rated for its ease of comprehension, either beginner, intermediate, or expert.
Advertising
We rely on the sale of advertising to generate revenue. But our need to generate revenue does not influence our editorial content. To make it easy to distinguish editorial content from advertisements, all the advertising for which we receive compensation is clearly marked.
Updates to this policy
We will review this policy frequently and revise it periodically. If we make changes to this policy, we will post the updated policy here. This policy's effective date will be identified at the top of the page.
